Life ki masti, Kharche ka jor.....THE PUB CITY

Dear Bloggy,

Its been more than a month since last time we had a date J
Bloggy Baby, missed you like hell but kya karta was vexed up with work. Those submissions followed by exams followed by Technotalk (college magazine) work left me with very lil time for maself. And if all this wasn’t enough than there was last minute shopping and packing for my Bangalore trip, not exactly a trip but internship.

And now m sitting in a PG accommodation missing virtual world, but enjoying amazing Bangalore life. The moment I stepped on Bangalore’s land it gave me a gut feel that m gonna have great time and I am exactly having that (Touchwood)

Brigade road, MG Road, Forum Mall, Garuda, CENTRAL and many other happening places made me feel really cool……

The Pub city
The Garden City
The software City
The pensioner’s city
If these are not enough than you may call this place a “CafĂ© Coffee Day city” coz of the number of CCD staores one can see here. I LOVE THESE. Bangalorians drink coffee more than tea and that’s very much visible by coffee vending machine at every corner of the street. It’s a city where organized retail will make you to buy more and more…… the best example of successful organized retail structures exist here.

It made me feel so good even on being fooled, it never happened earlier. I had hilarious time here….. the language problem makes you feel laugh on yourself. Endless funny instances happened. How will you feel when conductor in bus asks you to something and you are clueless about what is he saying…..and conductor reacts in a similar fashion when you shout and scream and cry because he is not asking driver to stop bus on the stop where you had to get down…..U helplessly see your destination pass by you….

People staring… and why won’t they…..a perfectly dressed person in formal attire running on footpath in rain. Drenched, water dripping from everywhere, he running and skipping over the opened potholes and sewage lines...........this wasn’t less than a JUNGLEEPAN J but I just loved doing this today.

I am having rocking time in Bangalore and expect similar things to follow in VF Arvind also (the place where I am doing ma summer internship)

Chal Bloggy apna khayaal rakhna aur apni chhamiya ka bhi J
LOVE YOU

Attitudes are taller.......

The 92-year-old, petite, well-poised and proud lady, who is fully dressed each morning by eight o'clock, with her hair fashionably coifed and makeup perfectly applied, even though she is legally blind, moved to a nursing home today.

Her husband of 70 years recently passed away, making the move necessary.

After many hours of waiting patiently in the lobby of the nursing home, she smiled sweetly when told her room was ready.

As she maneuvered her walker to the elevator, I provided a visual description of her tiny room, including the eyelet sheets that had been hung on her window.

"I love it," she stated with the enthusiasm of an eight-year-old having just been presented with a new puppy.
"Mrs. Jones, you haven`t seen the room .... just wait."

"That doesn`t have anything to do with it," she replied. "Happiness is something you decide on ahead of time. Whether I like my room or not doesn`t depend on how the furniture is arranged ... it's how I arrange my mind.

I already decided to love it ..."

It`s a decision I make every morning when I wake up. I have a choice; I can spend the day in bed recounting the difficulty I have with the parts of my body that no longer work, or get out of bed and be thankful for the ones that do. Each day is a gift, and as long as my eyes open I`ll focus on the new day and all the happy memories I've stored away ... just for this time in my life."
